CRASH is a grassroots, frontline activist collective located in Campbell River, BC. We are committed to harm reduction, advocacy, and social justice. CRASH is rooted in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and decolonized practices, we work alongside people who use drugs and those impacted by the housing and toxic drug crisis. We reject policy-driven barriers and prioritize human-centered, peer-led, and direct community support. Through outreach, education, and bold advocacy, we fight for systemic change, dignity, and the right to safe, compassionate care for all.
MISSION
We envision a Campbell River where people who use drugs, those living unsheltered, and all marginalized individuals have access to low-barrier, human-centered, and compassionate support. A community where harm reduction is embraced, policies prioritize people over bureaucracy, and lived experience leads systemic change. We strive for a future free from stigma, where decolonized, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approaches create lasting social justice and equity for all.
